Hey guys,
Firstly - How you doin!! I havent been around, i know.... and i promise im not stopping (not yet!) If any of you know me, you will know that i am a busybee and i do not stay still - i am super quiet at the moment because i am just trying to focus on completing my management qualification (which i think i might not be able to...but imma try...) so unfortunatly, it means i havent been remembering to post.
Am still selling on ebay, i am still here if you need anything!
I should be back by may, but we will see how that goes!
In the meantime though, my lovely hugsband (deliberate) jason is going to be helping with the little shop, so, it will be judy and jasons little shop! (Well, it was always judy and jasons little shop, but now he is like officially helping)
So... when i get around to explaining all i do to post then he will be upping the game again! :) Love you guys so much, i hope you are enjoying your games! 😀😀😀 X Jude

Sometimes, just hanging out with people is the best thing you can do! After a very busy week and what must be just shy of 500 miles (mon-thurs) i am so pleased to have been able to see a good gaming girl friend of mine who showed me this little gem... we went to visit which was SO AWESOME! A Boardgaming B&B.

The owners were just so lovely.
What a day!

Great people make the world so much better for those harsher days!
(It rained alot today!)

(I may take many more short breaks in malvern now i know this little gorgeous thing is there!)

In case you have been hiding away in the office, or playing far too many games to notice - this week has been .

Its a real shame that we need a week to raise awareness to the simple fact that our mental health is important, we are a culture which have been accustomed to not talking about the real stuff that is going on.
We have a culture that compares our peers 'highlights' on social media to our own 'low lights' in real life and we hide our own feelings of iniquity, anxiety, shame, fear, guilt and grief.

But you know what.

We all feel it. We are all going through it and we are all going through it together. (Whether you accept it or not!)

Board games and board game communities are great for your mental health and i think this (im sure some will share this opinion) because board games hit all of the 5 ways to well being.

Board Games and Board Game clubs can help you Connect with those around you, Keep Active (def reccomend throw throw burrito there), Keep learning (all those little rules), help others (learn the rules and socialise!) and most importantly (in my opinion, not the NHSs) take notice.

Not only is it important for us to connect with one another, it is good for us. We were designed that way!
Mental health isnt all about severe anxiety, panic attacks and su***de - these are huge issues that do need to be grappled with, but mental health is about self care, being together, doing things that bring joy and love to ourselves and others

So. The point of this long post? (Well done for getting this far)
Lets play/be/grow together.
Its better for us.
No matter who is next to you, whether you like them or not (i hope you like them), its always better to play together.

You guys are so special to me!

Today i hit a social media milestone! I have 200 followers on instagram & 300 on facebook!

Ever since i started this journey, i expected it to not work out, or that it would grow slowly.... but you guys have blown me away!
This little shop has gone from 0-100 in 60 seconds, its certainly keeping me busy!

I have been welcomed everywhere i go, people have been really supportive and i am so overwhelmed by the positivity i have recieved!

I am continuing to work on this project, i will keep my main goal to connect you guys with board games that you will love in order to create many many special memories!

Heres one game that i absolutely loved playing - when there are a few at the table who have had a little too much of the red, its even funnier.
Theres 3 rounds, you collect your cards and pieces and have rehearsals and a tiny show of meeple circus!
Doing what we all do with those tiny wooden meeples, building them into a brilliant structure!

This game is on my 'need to buy' list!
