Nice old Peavey Rockmaster amp in for repair / service. Needed a new ECC83 and the heater connector on the power supply board remaking as it had been overheating for a while, as can be seen in the photos. Otherwise a good clean and check was all that was needed to get this one up and running

Octal valve bias measuring adaptors made from new valve bases and the bottoms off a couple of faulty valves. 1ohm resistor between cathode and ground with short measuring cable. Should make life easier :-)

Recently through the workshop a lovely Marshall JMP 50 head with a shorted filter capacitor. Beautifully made and still very original and worthy of the investment in new old stock replacement caps to maintain the vintage looks. Sounds great and very loud!
