It’s Monday, so I’m not in the shop today, but TILDA ‘Something Blue’ is now in stock and available to buy!! I’ll get some nice pictures in store too & show you all tomorrow first thing, but for now here is a preview of how Tilda have used the collection 👀

Knit Pro ZING crochet hooks are now fully restocked!

I had a lovely customer come in last week, and wanted to treat herself to the whole collection of Zing crochet hooks, so we got all the sizes, lined them up to check if we had every single one, and chatted all things crochet.

I have now restocked all the crochet hooks from the zing range (I’ve also got waves 2.0!), so if you’ve been thinking about treating yourself to the whole collection, pop on in and we can see what ones you need to complete your collection, or make you a new collection from scratch!

Final day!! ‘An introduction to tailoring techniques’ is officially on the final day! Today: single welt pocket!
Stephen and I will discuss more dates very soon to plan more workshops, ‘tailored’ to the feedback we have had (see what I did there😉) so that we can involve more people in the next round of tailoring workshops!

4 NEW LINEN OPTIONS!

The start of the new linen collection at Needle Nook. Bellino Linen in white, black, neutral, and navy (the navy didn’t photograph very well - but it’s a gorgeous deep navy!).

Might have to make myself some beige or navy summer trousers … or imagine beige trousers with a navy stripe down the sides! Or navy with beige stripe! Oh the possibilities are endless!

Had a fun day dressmaking with our textile guru Sharon, on Monday. I went with the yellow gingham cotton fabric, and I’m thinking of adding white flowers on the sleeve (a fabulous customer suggested adding daisies, and then I saw this trim in the shop!!) …. The 3rd session is officially complete, one more to go until our first ‘Introduction to tailoring techniques’ workshop is all over! The weeks have whizzed by, lots of information and new skills have been taught and learnt. And hopefully some new tailored garments will be in making soon!

Hello my lovely customers!

Just a little heads-up that Needle Nook will be closed from June 13th – June 20th. I’ve decided to treat myself to my very first week off since opening back in September! I’m so proud of how far the shop has come, and I’m looking forward to a little re-charge before the Festive C-word starts creeping in.
I hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience.
To make sure you don’t go too long without your fabric fix, I’ll be back and rearing to go from Monday, June 22nd, opening a day earlier than usual just in case you’re in desperate need of supplies!
Please do pop in and stock up on anything you need before the 13th June.
