Can't wait to host our first fundraising event Amanda Thompson and Asthma + Lung UK in honour of Baby Cosmic 🧡💜

I will be dressed as an inflatable Pikachu for everyone to meet! we will have Pokémon colouring and activities, and then at 1pm, Pikachu will be running through the high street!! That's something you definitely don't want to miss!

Any donations, support, and cheers will be greatly appreciated!! ✨️🎉

Something a bit different from us today! Amanda will be running the London Marathon next April in honour of our daughter, baby Cosmic!! ✨💜 Baby Cosmic has asthma, so Amanda will be running to raise money for the amazing charity Asthma + Lung UK

If any of you would like to follow along her journey on Tiktok, share, support or donate, I know as a family we would hugely appreciate it!

We have always tried to give people the best we can, Amanda will be doing the same with her fundraising, and running a whole 26.2 miles!!!! 💪🏃‍♀️🎉

🧹 A Friendly Reminder 🧹

Firstly, thank you to everyone who joined us for our Pitch Black Pre-Release events this weekend! We hope you all had a fantastic time, and we really appreciate everyone who came along.

We do just want to make a small but important reminder.

When opening the shop today, I found empty cans on the floor, rubbish left beside the bins instead of in them, receipts, and empty packets left on the tables.Its taken over an hour just to clean the table areas before standard set up.

We work hard to keep the shop clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. While we're always happy to tidy up after events, we kindly ask that everyone takes a moment to throw their own rubbish in the bins before leaving. It's a small thing that makes a huge difference and helps us spend more time doing what we love.

Thank you, going forward, for helping us keep the shop a space we can all be proud of. We really appreciate your understanding and continued support. 💜✨

In the last 24hrs there has been a lot of debate regarding the changes with social media for young people. We know one thing won't change:

Every child and young person deserves a place where they feel welcome, included, and connected.

At Cosmic, we've always believed that community matters. Whether it's joining our Pokémon Club on Sundays, trading cards with friends, or simply having somewhere safe to spend time, our doors are open.

Our team is always happy to play games, chat, and make sure everyone feels part of the community.

For many families, especially parents of neurodivergent children, finding a space where their child feels accepted and understood can be incredibly important. We're proud to be that space for many local young people.

No matter what changes online, we'll keep doing what we've always done: creating a welcoming, inclusive community where friendships can grow face-to-face.
