Happy Monday 💕
Some of you may be wondering why I’m a bit quiet at the moment.
Within the past five years I’ve lost both my parents. I cared for them both before and 24/7 palliative with the help of my husband and children. As you can imagine, they have both left a massive Mum and Dad shaped whole in my life.
The last few weeks have been spent boxing up their lives and possessions. Clearing their house and preparing for its next chapter. It’s been our family home since 1971.
On Friday of this week we exchange contracts and complete the sale. I have to hand in my keys and never again set foot in my parents house.
I’m finding it a lot harder than I thought I would, loads of memories, lots of tears.
I think its just compounded the fact they’re not here anymore.
