🎭🇮🇹🌈Calling all students! (4-11 years old)You're invited to join us for an exciting Italian Carnival Party at the Italian school of Nottingham. 🚌 Get ready to embrace the festive spirit and come dressed in your best fancy dress costumes. It's going to be a blast!
We have planned an array of activities and games to keep you entertained throughout the event. From traditional Italian games like Pentolaccia to exciting contests and prizes, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Let your creativity shine through your costumes and be part of the vibrant atmosphere.

But that's not all! We're also extending a warm welcome to external children who would like to join in on the fun. Tickets for external children are only £4, making it an inclusive and affordable opportunity for them to experience the joy of the Italian Carnival.

BUON ANNO!!
Happy New Year to you all, I am just getting back into the swing of work after the new year and thought I would start with a big CIAO! to everyone who is new to my feed and for those who are curious, a few interesting facts about myself.

❤️ I am a hopeless romantic and love a great love story, that's why I love working on weddings so much. This is me pictured deep in concentration, setting up a wedding dessert table.

❤️My current favourite book is 'The boy, the fox, the mole and the horse' by Charlie Mackesy. Even though its a children's book everyone should read it, no matter how old you are.

❤️My pet hate is laziness, there is no excuse for it.

❤️The first concert I ever went to was Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation Tour. She was my teen idol and I used to teach myself all of her dances.

❤️My favourite region of Italy is PUGLIA, its where my mother comes from and the part of Italy that holds my heart.

❤️Everyone always asks me what my favourite dessert is.....but that's the hardest question in the world! It would be easier to tell you what I don't like 😂 I don't like cakes with lots of buttercream or icing like cupcakes, that's why I don't make them.

❤️My biggest influence is my mamma Lidia, she gave me my love of food, cooking and baking. I still call her up at age 48 to ask her 'How do I make.....?' to which she always replies 'I don't know the quantities, I do it by eye' 😂 Its needless to say I have learnt everything from her by watching.

Carnevale Italiano 2024 work in progress.

What a wonderful party for us to celebrate together and let our pupils get a taste of the authentic Italian Carnevale.

Opening the doors of this big event to other Italian families in Nottingham who had the opportunity to come and see for themselves what a lovely community we have been able to build since 2020 when we first opened our Italian school in Nottingham.
