I've always believed that flowers are at their most beautiful when they feel as though they belong.

Part of my design process is ensuring the florals aren't just placed in a space, but growing into it. Borrowing colours from the surrounding landscape, catching its light, and resting there as part of its story, even if only for a little while.

Florals created for Jess & Jimmy's joyful celebration LIMEKILN last July.

Every unforgettable celebration begins with a story.

Sometimes, it's an heirloom silver spoon that has graced generations of family tables. Sometimes, it's a piece of antique lace, carefully tucked away for years. And sometimes, it's simply the memory of a happy childhood home with loved ones gathered around the table.

These are the details I love to begin with.

Rather than simply arranging flowers, I create floral designs that echo the pieces, places, and people that matter most. Layering texture, history, and florals together creates something that feels more personal, a feeling unique to you.

Wedding flowers should feel like they belong to your story 🌿

May - a wild and wonderful ride of a month in terms of events and in-between the whirlwind of admin juggling, creating, countless flower collections and deliveries, design decisions, voice notes and laughter, making sure I had a packed lunch, water and my sense of humour, rain, hail and wind there were moments of absolute serenity and calm.

Just like this incredibly beautiful bearded iris in the garden this week 🤍

Something I spend a lot of time on when curating my flower orders is the colour palette. It's easy to overthink and over complicate matters, but when you care as much as I do about bringing a clients dream vision to life, it really matters.

I adore colour, and when it comes to floral palettes, I love how the addition of just one colour can take it from something beautiful to something that knocks your socks off!

The possibilities are endless, and while I'm personally more drawn to the less saturated knocked back end of the spectrum, I do love the excitement and sharp focus the addition of a clean bright colour can bring ie cobalt blue against plaster pinks and muddy browns or accents of scarlet in a sea of blush pink and peachy tones.

I loved experimenting with colour in my weaving days, and it's very much a core element of my textile design background that I now bring to my floral styling work.

Now that's what I call a spring floral haul! 🩷💛

These were for something very special last week, and I don't think you could ask for a more joyful colour palette. I absolutely love all the spring flowers. Maybe they seem extra special after the long wait over winter, but I think it's the array of... well, spring colours!

Huge fan of April weddings - blossom, tulips, ranunculus, narcissi, anemones, icelandic poppies, stocks, and snowdrops make for a joyful floral set every time. More April weddings, please! 🌷

Spring - but make it moody. Footed bowl centrepieces waiting to be carefully packed and loaded in the van, filled with a favourite curation of spring flowers: anemone, narcissi, ranunculus, white lilac, grape hyacinth and hellebore.
Spring weddings are an absolute joy 💜
