Blooms floristry I am a fully qualified florist with a huge love and passion for what I do. I am a studio based florist at Larton Livery specialising in weddings and events .

I also offer daily deliveries of luxury bouquets and am available for funeral flowers.

Thanks so much for all the messages, I’ve not been able to reply to everyone but it’s meant so much this week in probably what’s been the worst week of my life!

I was taken into hospital last Friday and diagnosed with an infected corneal ulcer. I had been unwell so thought it was just an eye infection initially until I lost my sight!

I don’t think I’ve ever felt so unwell. I’ve been in and out of hospital since with zero sleep for a week due to my eye needing medicating every half hour!
However I and am loads better than I was , the infection is at bay and it is healing slowly but my sight will take at least 4-6 weeks to return! Not the news I was expecting yesterday so it’s left me feeling very low tbh.

I can’t not work as I have a business to run and rely on solely my income so hopefully I’ll be back in studio next week a few hours a day with one eye working 😬

I can’t drive for the foreseeable future right now so will have cover for deliveries at set times.

Look after your eyes, it’s made me realise how scary and small the world is when you can’t see! Kate ###

Lost my mojo on here a bit I’m going to be honest! Been really busy with getting the new studio sorted , finding my feet in my new premises and busy with work which is great but I’m struggling on here tbh what to post or how to keep up.

I know I’m a good florist, not so good as a social media poster or business promoter!!

So thought I’d share this… I have all this wall space now, so I decided to frame and hang up my certificates from my two years in college back 2018-20. They’ve been in a drawer since I received them years ago and I put them up in the studio to remind myself how hard I worked to achieve what I have.

Felt a bit silly doing it initially but I worked so hard full time to become a fully qualified florist. This wasn’t a weeks course, I went to college for two full years to train and qualify and I’m very proud of that.

So they up on the wall now 🤍
Pop in if you’re at Larton and say hi, I aim to be in studio 10-4 mon-Fri and 10-2 on a Saturday unless I’m doing a wedding and am in and out delivering flowers 🤍😊

The dates for classes are in the studio at Larton (I’m next door to BAKED.est21 LIMITED ) are below. We have so much room now and I’m so excited for this years classes.

I am as always available for private home classes. I will come to you with everything, just give me numbers and I’ll price it up. Just message me and I will fit you in, these evenings fill up quickly.

You will not be making a boring wreath.. I buy lots of different foliages you can help yourself too, the best spruce, and have lots of goodies to decorate them with.
I am a qualified and insured florist and I can promise you you’ll make a fab wreath.

Prices are £60 per person. Booking fee £20 per person (non refundable), rest paid 1 week before but I’ll remind you.

Beautiful soft tones for a much loved mum🤍

Final tributes are so important to get right and produce.
I always meet up and talk through everything with you and try get to know who the flowers are for first, their favourite colours and flowers are really important to me and you. All your flowers are selected and bought in especially for you.

As always these were then broken down into small posies and delivered to the wake to give out to loved ones as a little token of joy.

What a summer it has been. Filled with the most beautiful weddings, couples and their families.
I have travelled all over north west and wales flowering up weddings and loved every one of them.

I have moved my business to huge new premises at Larton in Frankby which is just a dream come true. I am loving every day there, actually seeing people, having the amazing BAKED.est21 LIMITED next door with all their great food and lovely staff, great support from Larton itself and having sooooo much space to work in. I feel like I’ve always belonged here.

Huge relaunch of my website which has taken 10 months to get it right, I’m so proud of it and every image on there is a real wedding and the webshop is so easy to use now.

I’m just about to launch my new branding which is a really biggy. I think as a business you get seen by your branding so changing it and getting it right has been a really scary thing but I’m loving it and feel it’s very me. All done by the amazing Hope Nicholson Co | Hospitality Marketing

So in that note … I’m bloody knackered! So I’m closing now until Tuesday 15th September. I have two weddings tomorrow then I’m on holiday from Sunday for a week in the sun. It’s my first holiday of the year so I’m switching off and I’ll be back recharged and ready to launch autumn and Christmas wreath workshops which I have so much space for now. Watch this space as there’s so much to come. ###

I am so excited to finally share my new website designed by the incredible .co
I am so happy with it and it ties in perfectly with my re brand and new studio premises.

We have been working on this for 10 long months and so much work has gone into it.
co and her team are incredible! Hope is the most talented and patient person in the world having to deal with me and my ten thousand images and fifty voice notes a day until we got it right. I feel so blessed to have you in my life, you are one of life’s good people.

This was a very special wedding for me.. Tom first got flowers off me when they first started dating, then I used to go and deliver flowers to Emily during covid when they couldn’t see each other, I did flowers for them when they bought their first house and Tom got flowers off me to propose with so as you can see they are my absolute Og customers and I feel very honoured to of been there all this time. So to do their wedding was so so special to me.

I love Tom and Emily, they are life’s good people and we should all be a bit more Tom&Emily! 🤍
