Absolutely lost for words. ❤️
Less than a week ago, I shared the launch of our Fresh Start Fund, created to help families with children who are fleeing domestic abuse and need support during those crucial first few days.
Within just 24 hours of launching our fundraiser, we have raised an incredible £547.
When that’s paired with the money we’ve donated from last weekend’s booking, our Fresh Start Fund now stands at an amazing £552.
I honestly thought we’d be lucky to raise £50 to help kickstart the fund, so to see it reach more than 10 times that amount is something I never imagined.
This fund is something incredibly personal to me. It comes from a place of wanting to make sure that families escaping domestic abuse know they aren’t alone and that, even in the darkest of times, there are people who care and want to help them rebuild.
I can’t put into words how grateful I am to our friends, family, neighbours, local businesses, and everyone who has supported me—whether by taking part in the fundraiser, making a donation, sharing my posts, or simply sending messages of encouragement and support.
I’m completely blown away and incredibly emotional by the kindness and generosity you’ve shown. Every single contribution—whether it’s a donation, sharing our fundraiser, or a kind message—means the world to me and will help give families a fresh start when they need it most.
