Hello Everyone from The Card Gallery. Westgate on Sea…
What an emotional week it has been. Everyone has been so lovely with all their lovely comments and so upset that we are closing.
Everything is going so quickly…. But we still have lots more to sell. We have a delivery of some general relation and birthday cards coming in early next week also I will have a spinner as you come in the door which will be full of Art Blank Cards. These were on back order since before Christmas so be quick to get them. Once we price them we will get them out for you. We have a small selection of St Patrick’s Day cards out now. Also we have Teacher & Teaching Assistant Gifts available. The Gift Bags are selling fast but we still have lots to choose from including Christmas, Baby and Wedding. Also the same in Flat Wrap Sheets, and Roll Wrap. We also have lovely ribbon and bows in various colours. Check out our Birthday Banners, Birthday Candles and Badges.
Don’t forget Valentine Cards, Mother’s Day (at the back of the shop) Easter & Christmas …..lot’s to look at.

The Card Gallery…

As promised I said I would keep you posted on what’s happening regarding stock but firstly a big thank you to everyone that came in and made lots of purchases over the last few days you have been brilliant…. Just to say we are running low in certain categories. We have been so busy and now we are working behind the scenes to get Seasonal Cards out on Sale. We have put Christmas single cards out in the centre of the shop in tubs, the offer on these is almost 70% off, so take advantage while stocks last…. You will have to spend a little time going through the tubs. We also have Valentine and Easter out….we have Easter packs and single cards…we are topping up all the time. We will put Mother’s Day cards out hopefully tomorrow and these will be on a stand at the back of the shop… always ask for help. Valentine’s, Mother’s Day and Easter Cards are 50% off.

Lots of gifts, roll & flat wrap and gift bags still available.
Also lots of Christmas gift bags and flat wrap available. It is at the back of the shop.

Announcement from The Card Gallery Westgate on Sea.

It is with much sadness that I have to announce the closing of The Card Gallery after 17 happy years serving the local community, who’ve been fantastic in their support of a small local business during this time, as they have with all the business’s in the Village.

Unfortunately my lease expires towards the end of February, I was fully expecting to renew my lease and continue trading, but the landlord made it clear that he wanted to double my rent and tie me into a long lease, this is not a viable option for me from a business point of view. This only came to light recently, as I am aware some customers were under the impression that the business was up for sale earlier in 2021, but this was the property adjacent to mine. I have tried to find alternative premises in the locality, but to no avail.

We will be having a closing down Sale from Monday 10th January, everything within the shop, including gifts, will be 50% off, with the exception of helium balloons.

Why not take this opportunity to stock up on all your required Greeting Cards for the coming year at great prices.

I also have Spring Season Cards which were purchased in Lockdown last year, this stock will also be in the 50% off closing down Sale.

I will be posting additional offers throughout the coming weeks so keep a look out.

I have made great friends over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed chatting with all my loyal customers, I am just so sorry that I have been forced into this decision and cannot continue to provide a service to the community of which I have been very proud.
