Build Engineers, Foodies, Writers, a whole array of excellent Project Managers and a lot of exciting hot deskers, who come and go as they please. We offer affordable space and the chance to be part of a fantastic community of local entrepreneurs. Make friends, meet people, bounce your ideas around and be part of the knowledge share, work with others or simply come for the fast broadband and freshly ground coffee, it's entirely up to you. Why sit in a cafe, paying for coffee and using rubbish wifi, when you could be here with us, drinking coffee for free and using superfast broadband for less. A little sneak peek from today’s kitchen testing. 👀

We’re busy trying out some ideas for the new café menu, and this one went down rather well!

Goats’ cheese, beetroot, orange and quinoa salad, served with two mini brioche rolls – one filled with ham hock, honey & mustard, and the other with chicken mayonnaise.

And to finish… salted caramel and comb brownie. 🍫

We’re still tasting, tweaking and making sure everything is just right before the new menu launches, but we’d love to know what you think. Is this something you’d order?

Today is the final day for Rowan Tree Tea Room at The Stable, and we’re genuinely very sad to see David go.

We were so pleased to be able to welcome him here when he had to leave the Old Town Quarry, and it has been lovely having him as part of The Stable.

Please do pop in today for a final coffee, cake or chat and help us give him a warm send-off. We wish him the very best of luck for whatever comes next.

The café will then close for a short break before reopening on 3 August with coffee, cake, salads and sarnies to eat in or take away. It will reopen quietly at first, with a full relaunch planned for September.

This is today’s dog mess on Old Post Office Lane. It’s honestly disgusting, the whole lane stinks.

This is a space people come to enjoy. The street art brings visitors into the town, and this is what they’re greeted with.

We’re now looking at moving our CCTV to cover this area. As a not-for-profit on a shoestring budget, that’s not something we can easily afford, but we’re left with little choice.

It shouldn’t come to this. Clean up after your dog. It’s basic respect.

The sooner we can identify and take action against whoever is responsible, the better.
