✨️new addiction ✨️.. and not the illegal kind😅

I've just learned about processing plant fibers, which is super interesting! They often call it "retting" or "decortication" when getting them ready for things like rope or fabric. It's all about extracting those useful threads from the plants!!
🍃Green is a invasive grass
🍂Brown is a dead spider plant (I over watered, oops)
Not sure where I'm going with this, but maybe a mini basket of some kind :)

Absolutely LOVED💕 fixing this real butterfly in her frame, shes an Indian oak leaf (Kallima inachus scientificly) from around the 1950s.
Sadly her body was broken and both antennas were floating around in the frame.
Frames were built to last back then, so took a while to get into the back to actually get to her.
But here she is, she will be ok for another 75 years now 🦋✨️🍃🌸
