Today is International Day of Play, a day to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of children’s right to play.

This year’s theme is “Protect play, protect childhood”. In the busy world we live in today, the pressures on both places and time to play are ever-increasing. This day is to highlight the importance of providing access to safe environments for all children to play.

Play creates opportunities for children to learn, be creative and build social skills.

We've been busy ordering and refreshing our stock of beautiful gifts from Shared Earth - Fair Trade Products. New designs of the popular blank cards, new bags, notebooks and of course the supersoft Keeleco animals from Keel Toys

Our friends at the Dorset / Murugi, Kenya Community Project have recently returned from another successful trip to Kenya with lots of new exciting gifts to sell. We have a selection of their beautiful bags from bum and cross body bags to shoppers and a laptop case. We have also topped up our range of earrings and other jewellery. All the money raised from the sale of these gifts goes directly back to Kenya to support the many projects they are involved with.
