I've just listed about 3/4 of the titles in the Aircam Aviation Series range, including the Specials. They date from the late 60s to the early 70s and most of those on offer have been sitting in a cupboard for the best part of 50 years, so they're a bit dry but otherwise in very good nick, many of them being unread. At £5.99 each they're really good value and I'll consolidate the shipping for those who buy multiple issues.

In 1966 the then owners of the Military History Books shop in London purchased 30 copies of a slim 100-page pocketbook entitled 'The Re-Conquest of Burma' by Geoffrey Matthews. One of the most difficult campaigns in WWII, the desperate fighting on the borders of India at Kohima, Imphal and in the Arakan is perhaps the most illuminating operation of the whole war as well as being one of the most satisfying as a tale of triumph overcoming adversity. Written primarily for officer cadets at Sandhurst as a foundation for deeper study, in the event the books lay, forgotten, in the vaults of the London bookseller until the new owner of the company established it as an on-line store operating from Weymouth just over a year ago. It's a fascinating read for anyone interested in WWII and at the clearance price of only £1.99, it's a bargain!

A First Edition of a classic WWI aviation biography in a rather distressed state.
Albert Ball, a Captain in the Royal Flying Corps, was the first great fighting pilot produced by Great Britain. From Nottingham, he joined the Army as a Lieutenant, transferred to the RFC shortly after and was flying combat missions by early 1916. His career was short; before his death in an accident in 1917 he gained the MC and DSO with two bars. a posthumous VC as well as a number of French honours and was revered as a national hero.
