Well I guess it’s time for me to crawl out from under the woodwork… 🙋🏼‍♀️

Some may have been wondering where I have disappeared to over the year and where the once social media active Jade has been doing with her time.

Well I have actually found a passion in live running auctions.. who’d have thought it.. talking non stop for hours doesn’t sound right for me does it? 😂

I have become a little sought after by running these live auctions mostly in charity shops, hoarding warehouse, Carboots and other peoples items in the community from either their homes or mine. This is taking me all across different county’s with different organisations and not only am I thriving, an incredible amount has been raised for different charities along the way!

For those of you that haven’t seen me on the screen in action, the simplest of ways to explain it is, imagine shopping in charity shops , Carboots or goldmine vintage warehouse but without having to travel! I talk you through the item I’m selling and you bid there and then within 15 seconds and if you win the item is yours. If you are local you can pick up for free or you can choose to have it posted out. Of course anything with me is a good show and amusing content along the way so you can merely just log on, chat away with the other viewers and maybe pick up an item or two all from not leaving you’re home!

And after 9 years that’s me ( Jade 🙋🏼‍♀️ ) hanging up or more handing over the keys for good!

As you are aware I stepped away from the beauty industry over two years ago to focus on building a platform for my new line of work elsewhere, although my love for the team and the space I have created and built over the years haven’t changed but direction of my work is taking me here, there and everywhere which I’m loving and thriving in, but it’s only pushing me further away from giving the salon the attention and love it needs.

Today I kissed and signed over to the new salon owner Kateryna. Three years ago I welcomed her into our team with open arms, and the only English word we understood of each other was yes and hi, since then not only have I gained a best friend but Iv watched her become an amazing business women let me tell you now she has certainly learnt English at a level faster than I would have liked because she just doesn’t shut up! 😂

What can I say about the last 9 years… well let’s start with a was 26 years old and had no business having a business to start 😂 we survived countless lockdowns, countless leaks, a fire, surprisingly only three Facebook Karen bashing complaints but what has stood strong is the support and love from our amazing clients that have turned into the most incredible friends, and myself and the team owe all that solely to you..

This isn’t a sad goodbye, because I’m exactly where I want to be in life right now with exactly the right people around me that I could have only dreamed of having as my support unit.

No appointments will be effected, I will just silently but DRAMATICALLY shimmy away. Finally one huge last thank you to the team it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside you all these years.

You may have been wondering why things have been a little quiet on pretty blands social as of late and have noticed I have taken a step back the last year from being in salon to concentrate on raising two small humans.

Well… I’m making a comeback, BUT… not as pretty bland! After the new year I’m heading in a completely new direction, where my love and passion has been for a long time( all will be revealed soon )

This will mean that pretty bland’s social media pages on facebook & instagram will soley become personal to myself and my own new venture, and I will not be booking or managing anything hair or beauty related come the new year.

This pre message is to prompt each of you to grab you’re therapist’s / hairdresser’s social media accounts or telephone numbers to ensure that you are using them directly to book you’re appointments in and to not loose contact. All appointments booked, are not effected , moved , changed unless you are contacted directly by your hairdresser / therapist. And that’s about as exciting as it all is really 😂

Now I must say the last 8 years have been something I’m so proud of achieving. From a “know it all” 26 year old, that didn’t have the slightest bit of knowledge or experience in this industry yet my audacity of delusion and a massive set of balls got me through the first hurdle. Alcohol through the second hurdle, and deep rooted emotional damage through the rest 😂 I’m now 34 with a stronger sense of delusion, even bigger set of nuts so I’m certainly ready to make my annoying comeback. I’m not going to be saying goodbye, because I’m certainly not going anywhere. But for those that have supported and rooted for me and pretty bland from day one I thank you from the bottom of my heart you made a lot of things possible for me, and I hope you’re support continues so my delusion never fades away ❤️☺️

🌷🌷 WEYMOUTH JULY & AUGUST APPOINTMENTS 🌷🌷

In Weymouth I work from the beautiful Pretty Bland, Hair and Beauty Bar, which if any of you guys have been to, will know how unique and special our decor is! Situated near the train station, it is the perfect location with easy transport links and only a few minutes walk from the beach 🥰

These are my remaining dates and times for July and August. They are filling quickly so if you are after a top-up, new set of brows or any other treatment this summer, please get in touch asap to avoid disappointment.

Saturday 6th July: 10am and 11.30am
