Today we traveled down to Birmingham for Festival of Quilts!! We’ve dropped everything off ready for set up tomorrow 😊 so excited to meet up with friends old and new!!

challenge- day five - favourite quitlt ever.
I make a lot of quilts as examples of the products I sell, but this one I made just because I liked it!! It hangs above my tea making station in my studio. It’s from a Lori Holt pattern.
I like the idea that the mugs show off your favourite fabrics , and I love Rocket Rascals by Michael Miller, also the cute woodland scene, I wish I could remember the designer but it something like Lauren and Jessie Jung- can anyone help me out with that?

Mine is- design boards and alphabet markers! I always cut all my pieces out for each block and lay them out on my design board- if you have a few you can stack them up and the pieces stay in place!

After I finish at Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham, I head to a totally different venue-Lythe Church near Whitby.
Every August the church runs an event and this year it’s a Craft Fair. I’ll be taking my sewing machine and a spare one, so if you want to try doing a bit of patchwork- come along! There are other crafts too, and I can vouch from numerous personal experiences the quality of the cream teas!! 😋😋
