Purchased in 1973 for $185 at Phil Petillo’s guitar shop in New Jersey, Bruce describes the guitar, which has been his mainstay for over 45 years, as “an integral part of me”. ⁣
⁣
A ‘50s mutt’ with a swamp ash Telecaster body and Esquire maple neck, this unique guitar is one we’re extremely excited to try & replicate. ⁣
⁣
We did plan on starting this last month after you voted for it from a list of iconic Teles... but we decided to wait for the right piece of ash to come into stock so we could pay homage to the Boss’s famous grain.⁣

These two builds sound great together 😁 lightweight swamp ash bodied strat with hand wound "Mayer style" pickups, bone nut, high mass trem, sonic blue nitro.
Hand-wired, finger jointed pine tweed deluxe style amp with the 3 way neg. Feedback mod and a "master volume" for easy break up at home volumes... Very happy!
