013. Cakes are available to pick up from Malpas, Cheshire, or delivered to Chester/Cheshire Oaks by arrangement (an additional fee may apply). I also make Sweetie Trees, these can be posted and postage prices vary depending on size and quantity. Cakes Orders:
I require a minimum of 2-3 week’s notice on all celebration cakes and Sweetie Trees, or if agreed otherwise. Please order as early as you can to secure the date/your order. Payment Terms
Deposits:
For cakes I require a 50% deposit (non-refundable) on placing your order and the balance due 3 days prior to collection delivery. Sweetie Trees require full payment upon placing your order. Payment can be made by bank transfer. Cancellation:
If you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel your cake order, the deposit is non-refundable. If the full balance has been paid in advance, thus authorising me to complete the work there will be no refund given. Cake Storage & Shelf Life:
All cakes should be stored in a cool place on a flat, sturdy surface but NOT in a fridge. Sponge cakes will keep for one week after delivery if they are covered in fondant icing. Cupcakes should be eaten within 2 days. My declaration to you the customer:
I will make every effort possible to ensure your cake exceeds your expectations. However, sometimes a finished product may differ slightly as each cake is individually hand made and colours/decoration/size may be slightly different to any picture requests sent to me. The customer has a responsibility to fully inspect any cake on immediate delivery /collection and, once accepted, I will accept no further liability.
