91 of these lovely mini Children's Encyclopedias have arrived at an infant school today ready to be handed out at the end of term for all the Year 2 leavers. What a lovely gift!

With their free book allocation , the school have stocked up on lots of Christmas puzzle books for their grotto. Nothing like planning ahead even if it does feel a bit unseasonal! 🌞

Sorry for the silence on here, I've been a touch busy this month 😱🤯

Lots and lots of lovely new books heading out to schools for hundreds of children to enjoy 🥰

This figure doesn't even include the extra 60% free that schools receive so the reality is that's £5,756 worth of books that have gone out so far this month!

I couldn't do this without the support of all the teachers and parents getting behind our sponsored reads so thank you to everyone who has participated in one of my events lately. 👏

Such sad news 😢

I never got to personally meet the great man that is Peter Usborne but his spirit and passion shone through the whole company. Thinking of the Usborne family today.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our beloved founder and chairman Peter Usborne CBE. Peter passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by his family.

Peter was an exceptional publisher, an inspirational leader and a lovely man. He will be incredibly missed by his family and everyone here at Usborne.

Nicola Usborne, Peter’s daughter and Usborne’s managing director said “My dad always felt that he’d had the absolute best life, and that publishing for children for 50 years was the greatest privilege he could imagine.”
