With the constant yo-yo of covid we are changing how we roll . Online will resume with a click and collect system and postage . We no longer stock greetings cards and will only be selling items we make in-house . After almost a year of being on hold it’s time to adapt . We will be changing to M45 MAKES in the near future with some quirky northern merch .

Still closed 😔 however some online goodies are on the way . Thank you to everyone that has messaged us . We have had to stay away. To keep everyone safe in our own family unit along with others . But we have missed bringing you our instore created goods . So over the next few weeks our ok online selection will be making a comeback with our click and collect service for balloons and personalised items .

In response to multiple messages we are still closed . We can not adhere to the requirements for opening and as ever safety is the priority. Covid cases are on the rise again and as frustrating as it is for us and you it’s not possible for the shop to open to the public . We will accept online orders locally but that’s it till covid is over . To the lady who left a lovely answer phone message ranting she couldn’t get two greetings cards because we hadn’t opened even though Boris had instructed us to I hope this explains the reason ! Stay safe everyone we miss you more than you could imagine .

Sadly we won’t be opening with other non essential shops on Monday . We can not adhere to social distancing and put the measures required in place . Our stock is high risk being cards and bath and body and clothing so for the foreseeable we will remain closed to the public . Old buildings safety and space just don’t mix . We are passionate about ensuring we do our bit to end the spread of this virus . The northwest especially bury and north manchester still has a very active infection rate .

So as you have seen on the news lockdown restrictions are being lifeted towards the end of the week . We could have adhered to restrictions from day one to be perfectly honest . Better than any supermarket or chain store! However following the rules we held back and took jobs . We now need to stick to the commitments we’ve made with employers good enough to support us through these challenging times . We could not morally walk away from them as they have supported us to survive. We are now online only till further notice and appointment only . By no means closing but the shop will become a larger workspace for collection of orders . We are going to be offering a postal and local delivery service and functions will be catered for . We hope you understand by your own experience of this crisis and the hardships you’ve faced at home with loss of work etc . The business is still ongoing just in a different way . Back to our roots online ###
