Help on Town Shop Damp
Our giftware / antique shop in town for the second time has a damp issue. Six month ago, we had the back shop walls cleaned down fully, dried out and painted and both small rooms. Now we have a bad smell of damp again, but can’t see any mold and think we need professional help to clean and paint it.
Downside is we have a lot of stock but can move it around and clear most to get the issue sorted. We’ve began taking a few bits upstairs. We can clear the back and hall to have that done first, then move the items out both rooms out back to get both rooms done.
If we can’t fix it asap I have to leave as it’s been the cause of my lung and now heart issues for over a year. Despite tests and scans it was thought it was my birds, even though they aren’t in the same room and are upstairs. It’s not been. It’s been mold spores I’ve been breathing in that has gone into my lungs and showed up twice on a CT scan as a mosaic pattern.
Any help even with moving items and sorting this would be great.
