Just me over here forgetting about social media because I’m living my life. The shop has been busy enough without me using it, and sometimes I wonder if I even need it. Then I go and post a pic of something new, or highlight a favourite piece and you come in and say you saw it on socials. I guess I do still need it - so here is a Hello 👋🏻 come and visit us this week and see some beautiful things for you and your home IRL.

New prints added to the collection today from Abbie Franks | Proper Good 🪩 to celebrate being Northern, living by the sea and everything special about that. We ordered these before the ecological plastic disaster hitting our coastline, but they seem even more fitting now. Love where you live, Protect where you live 🌊

We’ve had a delivery of so many new prints this week so I’ve updated our walls with some of my favourites. We’ve got cool, muted abstracts // dreamy, colourful florals and vibrant food and drink inspired collections, so you can see a curated selection to match your style. (My home is definitely the first photo).

DO YOU have a spare hour? Do you love where you live? Can we ask you a favour?

Please try if you can to help with the ongoing beach clean up along our coastline. Amy and I gave up our shift in the shop today to go and help collect the millions of pieces of plastic that have washed up on the beach and after 4 hours, there are still so many there.

Community action groups are in place, if you have no idea what I’m talking about and want to help. We’d recommend heading to Yonder to get more detailed information, and to a link to the community coordinated WhatsApp group. This is an ecological disaster and not being adequately reported on - we’ve spoken to people today in the area who had no idea this spillage had even happened. If you can, please do help.

We’ve completed 6 months of the year and I’ve been doing some analysis of my business. I don’t like saying this out loud in case I jinx it, but each month of 2026 has seen the highest sales since we opened the Whitley Bay shop in 2021.

Thank you so much for getting us here. It’s definitely not been easy - I’ve made some big errors and literally never stop working, but I love it and hope we never have to stop this business. Who wants to help us beat the next 6 months of sales? You in?
