Katie Brydon - Artist & Homeware Design Hello. Welcome to my page and thankyou for taking a look. My name is Katie Brydon and im a local artist in Whitley Bay. I strive to create unique pieces.

I have always loved playing with colours, textures, and patterns, and found myself constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture and accessories. After completing my Btech in fine art, I pursued my passion of abstract art by painting and drawing and displaying my pieces around local coffee shops and working with my favourite local indie shop 'For the Love of the North' selling prints, tote bags and

greetings cards. My goal as a Homeware Designer is to create pieces that are both vibrant and fun. I believe that good design should make people feel comfortable and happy in their homes and workplaces. I believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, and work to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and affordable. I am a lifelong learner, and am always exploring and experimenting with my art to bring you beautiful pieces that will fill your home with things that you love and make you feel good!

Introducing my bespoke wallpaper.
My prints are depicted clearly, with crisp outlines and definitions that will stand out on any wall. Turn your walls into something spectacular for every room in your home. My designs are printed onto chic, thick paper that has a beautiful textured matte finish. This paper has very good print quality and offers a long-lasting print. The wallpaper printing has a 10-year guarantee for colour fastness when the paper is kept in an optimal position, i.e. away from direct sunlight. It is strong and durable and holds up well to scratches and abrasions. This makes it an ideal wallpaper to use in high traffic areas. As sustainability is one of my main objectives, your paper is eco-friendly, no solvents and only water-based inks are used. If you are planning on hanging your paper on a dark wall, I recommend using lining paper before applying your wallpaper.

The wallpaper is handmade so takes on average 1-3 days. In rare cases when I need to re-print an item, this may take an additional 1-2 days.
