Coast community, we got this! Two weeks ago, I'd never heard of a nurdle, today I'm discussing them in the Guardian.

There have been 1000s of us out sweeping, sieving and sifting to remove the billions of pellets from our beaches. Please read and share to highlight this devastating plastics spill and put pressure on the Port of Tyne and shipping companies to step up the clearance and stop this from happening again.

Whether you're a seasoned expert or a a curious beginner, you'll find something to enjoy in our evening talks. Understand how to identify illustrative techniques in books from woodcuts, copperplate engravings, lithographs, photographs, and digital techniques. Get hands on with a beautiful and eclectic selection of illustrated works, and try out your detective skills as you learn how an expert identifies an illustration from observation alone.
