New three week lace making course from Caroline English Lacemaker

Looking for a new hobby this autumn?

I'm running a beginner bobbin lacemaking course in Whitley Bay this September.

Despite how complicated it looks, beginners are often surprised by how quickly they get started. If you can count to four, you can learn the basic movements!

Bobbin lacemaking is a wonderfully mindful and relaxing heritage craft, and I'd love to help keep this officially Endangered Craft alive by introducing it to new makers.

I’ve got a lot of books by the author from my gorgeous mother and she always wanted me to read the I’ve finally started them and loving the connection it’s giving me to my mam - I miss her so much but when I’m reading, I feel she is with me ❤️
