Unique custom guitar builds inspired by the cigar box guitars from the 1800's. Who the bloody hell are Junksville?

Well, I guess it's just me, one man in his home-made workshop/bar with an odd imagination and a passion for music & red w**e. A salvage and upcycling Luthier since 2008, that can't walk past a skip or dumpster without diving in and looking for potential parts. No Fender factory finish here, warts n all just add to the guitars mojo! Inspired by the 3 and 4 string Cigar Box Guitars of yesteryear, I started out making these box bodied guitars. After a while I decided I needed more variety, so put my own twist on these homemade instruments and thought “outside the box” so to speak. So now come up with my own designs and body shapes, as well as giving a nod to certain well know guitar shapes in some of the designs. I've been delighted to send these all over the world, Australia, China and the USA to name a few, so nice to know they're out there been played. End of summer sale, Yew top Esquire, details below

All the guitars I make are one-offs, I never make 2 exactly the same so anyone that gets one knows they have the only one, hope that makes sense!
Just me on my own in my homemade Bar/Workshop in Whitstable Kent, using all sorts of recycled, reclaimed, scavenged and scrounged bits, so no Fender factory finish here! they will have the odd mark and dinks etc, warts n all just add to the guitars character and mojo!!
THEY AIN'T BROKE, THEY'RE BESPOKE
This one has a red meranti chambered body with an old yew top, Tru-oil finish, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, locking tuners. P90, roller bridge and jazzmaster style tremolo. It has 4 way esquire wiring giving 4 different tones from a single pickup, 2 cocked Wah's, one with a 0.0047 cap and one with a 0.0022, then you got a 0.47 on the tone pot, and then bypass all tones and straight to the jack via volume. £550 UK shipping £30 or collection from Whitstable Kent, for international I'd need your country to get a shipping price.

I call this one Old Yella, though it's kind of amber. Swamp ash body, road worn / used vibe, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, locking tuners. Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles and a Gretsch Filtertron
pickup. This one was a fun build, The Barrel Top Barncaster Esquire, £550 + £20 UK delivery, for international I'll need your country to give a price.
Aged/relic vibe Tele style, with "a less is more" look. Ash chambered body with a planked Ash inlayed top, I sunk the inlay down to give it more of a barrel top look, rather than being flush like normal inlays, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, locking tuners.

The latest build. The MegaTenor, 20 1/4" scale tuned G C E A. I wanted a bit more space for the fingers and a more guitar like feel to a uke, as that's what I normally play. So a chunky neck and bigger body and more room for the fingers, feels great to play.

I've been a bit quiet on here for a while as had to take time out from the workshop to give my knackered shoulder time to heal. Shoulder now seems to work a bit again, so I'm joining it, back in workshop, here's the new build up for grabs, back to basics for this one. This one is a mash up of a tele, jazzmaster and sg in an aged / relic vibe. The body is elm with aged hardware, single coil neck pickup, rail humbucker for the bridge, 3-way, volume and tone. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard and 2-way truss rod, made by cutting and re-shaping an old regular 6 string electric guitar neck, spare hole plugged. Approx 32mm nut with 8mm spacing and approx 11mm spacing at bridge, so a very nice regular guitar feel to it. Body and neck finished in Tru-Oil with a satin look. Strung and tuned to open G, but you can of course change the strings and tune to what you like, tenor tuning, etc £420 inc UK shipping, for an overseas price just give us shout.

New 4-Stringer Rezo build for Geoff. Mahogany chambered body and Mahogany top, maple neck converted to 4 string with rosewood fretboard, frosted ali cone, half cover in Mahogany, aged metal pickguard, and a couple of Alnico5 single coils, good fun build to do.
