Spend a day immersed in creativity at MINT To Be! an inspiring all-day workshop celebrating the versatility of Mint by Michelle™

Michelle founder of Mint by Michelle will be joined by two exceptional guest artists!

Nick Spencer of The Rocky Crystal Interiors will guide you through a host of stunning paint techniques, sharing the skills and confidence to create beautiful, unique finishes.

Jonathon Marc Mendes of Painted Love will demonstrate his signature approach to decoupage, showing you how to seamlessly extend your chosen image through expert colour matching and blending for a truly artistic, hand-painted finish.

Whether you're just beginning your creative journey or looking to refine your skills, you'll enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere filled with inspiration, expert tuition and like-minded makers. Come ready to learn, create and discover why this workshop was simply MINT To Be!

Thursday is going to be a busy day, not one but two workshops.
Both completely different at 11am it’s the decoupage workshops where you can have a go at making a few small pieces with decoupage, everything included.
Then 6pm it’s the bottle lamp workshop where you will make your own bottle lamp, to take away, everything included.
Which workshop would you choose.

When in Whitstable 🦪

It’s this Saturday the 1st August Whitstable Carnival Association the fabulous Jen Rickus Ra - Goodies for Gifts & Home has organised a trail through the high street from the top of Oxford Street all the way through the town down to the harbour. Look out for the posters, get all the letters for your chance to win some amazing prizes all donated by the local businesses.

From chippy and tired to colourful and fabulous!
I completely forgot to share this gorgeous little cabinet makeover by the lovely Svenja from Thursday’s workshop!

This one needed a fair bit of prep first, with layers of old chippy paint and wax to tackle. Once the wax was removed and it had a really good clean and sand, we were ready to get creative!
We started with Flamenco, followed by a couple of coats of the fabulously vibrant Hot Lips . Svenja chose Calming Carol for the drawers, creating the perfect contrast.
And just look at the transformation!
Svenja is planning to decoupage the drawers and fill them with journaling materials for her students, so this beautiful little cabinet will have a whole new purpose too.
I think it’s such a unique and joyful piece – and I’m sure it will bring years of happiness to Svenja and her students.
