Been playing with making creations entirely out of duct/gaffer/Duck tape, I have to say it's a much more versatile material than I thought! If you want tutorials and tips then maybe try YouTube, I found loads and loads there. 🖥

So far I've kept it simple and gone for a pencil case (no pic yet) and this little pouch. I thought it might be great for makeup, paints or any other messy storage as you can wipe it clean! 💦

Hopefully a tutorial will follow when this nasty pain storm I seem to be in dissipates. ⛈

Following on from feeling ick, look what my fantastic boyfriend made me-
It is tinned tomato soup, but with pizazz 🦄.

🍖 So firstly added was some fried ham, that's because making bacon is hassle and we are all about the short cuts. To do that you just throw in some ham with some oil and paprika into a frying pan and fry until crisp.

🍞 Pop in some toast into your toaster.

🍵 As you heat up the tomato soup, add in the ham and add in herbs & spices to taste, then pour into a bowl.

🍃 If you are unsure what herbs to use basil works great with tomato and some pepper might spice it up, although take care with strong spices and pepper if you have a sore throat.

🧀 Thickly grate some cheese on top.

🏁 Put your bowl on a large plate and add your newly popped-up toast to the plate and nom nom nom!

I feel super ick (I think the latent cold bug finally surfaced) so I made myself lemon and honey* and ate some of my yummy homemade biscuits.
I think I'm starting to get into this homesteading lark ;)

🍋 Cut a lemon in half, put one half in the fridge and then cut your other half in slices. Cut all but one or two into smaller pieces.
☕️ Pour hot water onto all the pieces/slices
🍴 Mash the smaller pieces to get out all the lemony goodness then fish them out. Leave the whole slices for continued stewing (and prettiness).
🍯 Pour in some yummy honey & stir in.
🏁 Voila! Homemade lemon and honey!

I was super surprised at how well it worked, even from the first sip. For me, it worked better than the shop bought stuff, so it's well worth a try if you can make it. If you are feeling too ill, maybe try simply squeezing in any form of lemon juice to hot water & add honey.

Making cupcakes is a great rainy day activity for adults and kids alike. There is something very satisfying about making food from scratch, after all we need food to live. And if it's pretty, then bonus!

These were super easy to make and the pink part is strawberry flavoured and the white part vanilla. Although the strawberry kinda won out lol!

To edit my photos, like the one below (I really like the game Neko Atsume- you collect photos of kittens! 🐱) & the previous one I used to tell y'all about our anniversary, I use the app Aviary.

It's pretty good, it has filters, frames, overlays & stickers, as well as the standard brightness/contrast etc. One thing I particularly like about it is the tool for making a photo black & white and then 'colouring in' the colour parts.

You get a load of stuff for free and then can add packages if you want. It's pretty easy to use and it was free but it is missing some features.

The main one it's missing is it won't collate photos together, like when you make a mini collage of 3-5 pictures? 🏰🌅⛰

Does anyone have an app they use for this they can recommend? Price needs to be free preferably lol!! 💸

Candy cane reindeer! (Alpha version as it was just that imagination struck as I was taping candy canes together). I've run out of canes but when I get restocked I shall make a second version & if it works I'll do a tutorial of the beta! 🎄
