I’m incredibly proud to share that Dot Kids Art Inspiration has been named a finalist in the Club Hub Awards 2026 for Inclusive Business of the Year.

From the very beginning, Dot Kids has been built on a simple but powerful belief: that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, included, and free to express themselves creatively - exactly as they are.

Inclusivity has never been a box to tick at Dot Kids - it is woven into everything we do.��It’s in the way we welcome every child.��It’s in the safe, nurturing spaces we create.��It’s in championing neurodiversity, celebrating individuality, and ensuring that art is a place where children can build confidence, find their voice, and truly belong.

And I’m really proud to have that recognised on a national stage.

As the founder, this feels especially important because Dot Kids was created from the heart - with a vision to do things differently, to make a genuine impact, and to use the transformative power of art to support wellbeing, self-expression and confidence in children.

I’m so proud of how far Dot Kids has come, and I’m so grateful to every family, school, child, educator and supporter who has been part of this journey.

We are delighted to share some exciting news as Dot Kids continues to grow across Kent and beyond…

𝗗𝗼𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀!

We are thrilled to announce 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

From Term Five onwards, we will be delivering our multi-award-winning weekly Art Inspiration Programme, designed to spark creativity, nurture emotional literacy, and give children meaningful opportunities for self-expression.

At Dot Kids, we believe that art is not about perfection or product. It is about process, expression, and giving children the language to understand themselves and the world around them.

Through our sessions, pupils are supported to:

At Dot Kids, we believe in the transformative power of art to boost wellbeing, self-expression, and confidence in children – and we’d love you to be part of it.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱:

• These are freelance roles delivering our After School Art Inspiration programme for primary school-aged children (all lesson plans provided)

• Sessions typically run for 32 weeks of the academic year, once or twice a week in each school

• 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: £𝟯𝟱 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

• Full training in the Dot Kids Method provided

• Opportunities to get involved in additional creative projects

You will be someone who is:

• Confident working with primary school children

I’m attending the ICAP (Institute of Children’s Activity Providers) Conference on Friday.

I can’t wait to see everyone and be inspired by the incredible speakers!

🌟Who else will be there?

Dot Kids are FINALISTS in the ICAP Awards in the Trailblazer category and the winners will be announced at the conference, which makes it feel even more special (and a little bit nerve-wracking!).

To be in a room full of people who are so passionate about making a difference in children’s lives, and to have Dot Kids recognised alongside them, is such an honour.

This journey has always been about giving children the space to express themselves, build confidence and feel truly seen through creativity - so this moment means a lot.

We’re so excited to be partnering with Wingham Primary School to bring Dot Kids Art Club to their pupils 🎨

Starting in Term 5, this brand new after-school club is all about giving children the freedom to explore their creativity, build confidence and express themselves in a supportive, inspiring environment.

This isn’t about perfect paintings or “getting it right”…
It’s about creativity, curiosity and celebrating every child’s unique ideas.

Each week, children will:
• Explore inspiring artists
• Experiment with paint, collage, drawing and sculpture
• Develop confidence through self-expression and discussion
• Learn that mistakes are part of the creative journey

Every child will also receive their own Dot Kids Art Inspiration Sketchbook & Folder to build a body of work they can feel proud of.

All abilities are welcome, and every child is supported to grow in their own way.
