Hi Everyone

TESCO WICK
OUT & ABOUT IN THE COMMUNITY
🍌🍓🥭🥝🍌🍓🥭🥝

A few weeks ago two of our colleagues was delighted to help out with a Community Project.
Gemma and Sonya went along to the PPP where P6 pupils from across Caithness and Sutherland took part in a Road Safety Event.
The event had lots of different activities with the emergency services attending along with a speed camera and a smoothie bike .
This was an event that gave emphasis to pupils to raise awareness in an engaging way through a series of fun activities with our local emergency services.
We were delighted to supply milk, juice and bananas , fruit & berries.
They each got a shot of making their own smoothie by pedalling to blend it all together.
Lots of fun on the day.
Gemma and Sonya had a brilliant time and enjoyed seeing everyone and taking part with some of the different events.
Thankyou ladies for helping out and representing our store ❤️
Well Done to everyone involved.

Hi Everyone

TESCO WICK
OUT AND ABOUT IN THE COMMUNITY.

Two weeks ago Karen our Community Champion and Fresh Manager Sonya took a run out to Mey Hall to see the wonderful work the
Befriending Caithness do within our community.
Folk from Wick, Thurso and surrounding areas attended Mey Hall for the monthly lunch club.
Karen and Sonya ( who is also a befriender) popped along with some flowers, fruit, cream and meringues .

The fresh flowers set the tables off lovely as Sonya arranged whilst we chatted away with the folk attending the lunch club and having a lovely catch up.

We then popped on our aprons and in the kitchen we whisked up some cream, prepped some fruit and presented them all with fruit and meringues as a little treat for the lunch club and for them all to enjoy .

A lovely afternoon was had with meeting everyone, the beautiful drive out and taken in our beautiful scenery.
Thankyou to Richard and Elspeth for inviting us along , showing us the lovely work they do along with fellow volunteers who all gave us a warm welcome and made our visit very joyful . Thankyou everyone for a lovely afternoon.
We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future. 🥰
* For anyone interested in becoming a Befriender please pop over the the Befriending Caithness page for some more info.
