Well it's been awhile since we posted, but here at Cool Cat Records we have been very busy bee's, working very hard .... endless cleaning ...oh the cleaning never stops 🫪😹 preparing and pricing to give you the very best quality and variety of vinyl at affordable prices. 👍

We have had some excellent collections come through our doors, new stock is being added daily, pop in for a browse, 👀 we look forward to your visit. 😸

Ah yes, Record Store Day. That magical time of year when “support your local record shop” translates to “financially stress-test it for 48 hours straight.”

Nothing says love for small businesses like major labels pressing 15,000 copies of a “limited” picture disc that nobody asked for. Because what every carefully curated shop needs is a large lump of cash tied up in glow-in-the-dark reissues and quasi-bootleg live albums that arrived with the urgency of a Marvel film premiere and the shelf life of a Christmas pudding.

All that said, respect and credit where it’s due to the shops that do take part in Record Store Day, we hope you all have a prosperous and successful weekend!

We had a visit recently from the lovely and very talented Kelly Cresswell 🙂

Kelly is a local artist who can be found gigging wherever and whenever possible and last week she released her first solo album, Under The Stairs 🙂
