We are Widnes Model Centre established in April 2011 and located at 128 Widnes Road Widnes WA8 6AX. Do come and find out for yourself and see.

We have in stock an extensive choice of modelling supplies and brands catering for all of your modellng needs. We stock Tamiya, HoBao, FTX, ECX , Corally and Arrma Radio Controlled cars. Repairs are undertaken by trained HPI Technicians and in addition Body Spraying, Upgrades and Servicing to most RC items. We have in stock a wide range of Plastic Model kits including Revell, Academy,Tamiya, Drag

on, Airfix, Aoshima, Fujimi, IBG, Gecko, Moebius, Polar Lights, AMT, Hasegawa, Italeri, Trumpeter,Takom and more with all modelling accessories available. We also stock Humbrol Tamiya, Mig
Mr Hobby and Vallejo paints - K&S and Albion Alloys metals and Evergreen plastics,plus all other modelling accessories. We do keep in store a selection of Scalextric cars and sets and can order on request if available. For Train enthusiasts we stock Hornby, Graham Farish,Bachmann,Dapol, Peco, Metcalfe, Accurascale and Gaugemaster. We offer all year round Savings Club and have Gift Vouchers available .

End of week not a lot of deliveries since we posted mid week with the Accurascale Locos and Freight.
The Guys will be in the shop tomorrow Saturday 12th September from 10am until 4pm.
So if you want to go and catch up with them they will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.

Tuesday and a great delivery from Accurascale of their Austerity locos. Priced ar £149.95. Also what we have left from Accurascale in locos. We also have some of their rolling stock.

Well the three day working week is panning out wonderfully well could get use to this … though…. not just yet.
We’ve had a shed load of deliveries today of new Eduard kits in 1/48th scale and Andy’s Hobbies two only though atm as they always sell like hot cakes the 1/35th scale M3 and M3A1 US Half Track .. so be quick.
Yesterday saw the arrival of the always in demand of Modelling accessories plus some nice kits in Tamiya a 1/12th scale the Mini Cooper 13i plus a 1/35th German sd.kfz.25 Greif and finally the ever popular 1/48th Corsair.
That’s it tomorrow in the shop it will like old times with Barry Gill and Tom here to help.
We will be around from 10am-4pm so get those skates on and come and see us.

To everyone who has sent fabulous messages to the ‘ol boot’ on her Birthday thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I truly appreciate your messages from our super customers- I really wanted to keep quiet but the Boys plastered it all over our Shop page.
Not easy to celebrate this age ! but I will with all of our antics and memories with some pretty special customers. 🥰🥰Thank you again 🎂🥂🥂

Our gorgeous wife and mum is celebrating a very special birthday tomorrow. Please don’t ask me how old she is but her favourite music is the 70’s and she will be in her…….
We’re giving her a few hours off so she can go and watch her beloved Everton.

As promised this is the Airix and Hornby delivery that arrived last night.
New Airfix and Quickbuild kits.
Hornby is a mix of new releases and bargains in TT120 and 00.

Tom is just finishing the pricing but all are available now.

Hey Friday again and hope everyone has managed to get through the sweltering heat wave. 🥵🥵
We’re still here but having a quiet week so not alot to update you with.
Our Model Railway enthusiasts at last have a look in this week with restocks of GaugeMaster scenics and GM Single Track Controllers with Plug In Transformer. We’ve plenty of these available at bargain prices.
We did receive a late Hornby delivery but yet to get it all out and priced up of Steam, Diesel with and without Sound.
Once this has been photographed up we can post gallery photos tomorrow.
Last but not least from Airfix the ever popular the 1/72 scale Wessex HC2.
The Guys will be in the shop tomorrow Saturday 15th August from 10am until 4pm

Barry and Gill are currently away and have left the very capable Boss,Tom in charge of proceedings.
We’ve been reliably informed and evidenced with a photo gallery of goodies that have arrived only just today.
Here goes then our update this week from, Tamiya a selection of Military plastic kits in 1/35 and 1/48 scale in both Air and Land. In addition Racing Cars and Motor Bike kits in 1/10th 1/24th and 1/12th scales.
A surprise delivery arrived of a 1/32nd Scale an Atlantis ‘1982 Z/28 American Camaro Automobile.
In contrast for our Sci Fi TV and Film followers X Plus Frankenstein and his Bride both in 1/8th scale.
We hope they’ll be very happy together !
Last but not least and we can’t get enough from Bandai plenty for those that follow collect and build the Gundam Japanese Sci Fi Military kits. Plenty to choose from this week.
Those who fancy a quick boat race in the park we’ve had a restock of Joysway Magic Cat speed boats. They’re good for beginners but the recommended age is 14+ so come on dad’s big brothers and grandad’s get out to the local boating lake and take the little ones.
That’s is for now the lads will be in the shop tomorrow Saturday 8th August from 10am until 4pm.

On a more positive note this week’s update will wet the taste buds with more new plastic kits from Ryefield,Gecko,ForeArt
(a new brand for us) Hobbyboss, ICA, MiniArt and Meng.
Air all in 1/48th scale and the Sea and Land Military in 1/35th Scale.
We did take delivery of two Gecko 1/16th Scale US M24 Light Tank Chaffee (WWll Version) these have been taken but will be replaced quickly. If you would like us to save you one please let us know as they do sell quickly.
On return from some time ago and still sought after the Bandai Millennium Falcon and Revell/Disney The Y Wing Fighter in a silly special price.
Barry and Tom will be in the shop tomorrow Saturday 1st August (already !!!) from 10am until 4pm.
