Not enough people know, or care, about the fight for disability equality. But it’s time to take notice.

There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. We’re a diverse, proud and vibrant community. But life is still outrageously unequal.

The world has changed a lot in recent years. And we need to change with it. That’s why today, we’re sharing our refreshed brand. It will help make disability impossible to ignore.

We’re part of a powerful movement of disabled people and non-disabled allies. Because an equal future is possible, but it’s going to take all of us. Are you in?

We are urgently in need of donations at Scope Wigan
Our cupboards are bare and stock is flying off the rails. If you are having a pre Autumn clear out we would love to take your last year’s autumn and winter items to make way for this years trend 🍁🧡🍂
By donating your preloved items to Scope you are enabling us to support disabled people and their families in the following ways
💜 81 bags could enable us to run our parents connect service for a week
💜 119 bags could enable us to run our starting line services for a week
💜 275 bags could enable us to run our Navigate services for a week
💜 340 bags could enable us to run our online community for one week

We are looking for volunteers to join our team 💜

You don't need a lot of time to make a big difference. Most roles are very flexible, even an hour or two of your time could help so much.
Volunteering can help boost your skills, confidence and self-esteem. It's a great way to improve your CV and increase your employability as well as meeting new people and getting that feel good factor from supporting our charity.
We have roles in customer service, stock and back of house roles, merchandising and fundraising.
