My beautiful Peonies are starting to drop their petals, I’ve brought them inside as there was a lot of wind and rain earlier in the week, thankfully there are still some surviving in the garden.
I have been hoping they lasted long enough for my Daughter in law to enjoy their beauty tonight when she visits with my Son, I haven’t seen them since January.

So here they are for you to see too! 🌸🌺

This collection of iconic fit the brief perfectly and would make a great Father’s Day gift, soon to be listed on eBay prices from £20.

My favourite is the gold and yellow paisley, these are all in excellent condition and date around 1950.

Rain ☔️ forecast all week so I decided to bring my blooms inside, this is the best crop I have had since planting the 6 years ago, such a shame that they go so quickly.

Happy floral joy day everyone 🌸🌺

6 years ago we planted roses 🌹 and Peonies 🌺 I really wanted a garden full of my 2 favourite colours 🩷🧡 this year has exceeded my expectations, so I thought I would share my beautiful blooms with you all for with Jane I hope you enjoy my minute of lovely blooms 🩷🧡.

I am now going to cut a few to bring inside.

Busy weekend for little Leigh in Lancashire as we have Billy Ocean and Marti Pellow in concert this evening followed by The lottery winners tomorrow evening, thousands of people descending on our little town.
I will be there this evening luckily less than half a mile from my front door, so tomorrow evening we will listen from my front garden!

“Around the world “
The theme this week with is Vintage around the world, it’s almost June already which is the month we celebrate the Men in our lives, so I decided to put together a collection of items that the traveling business man may have had in his leather case.

I hope you like my eclectic mix of vintage.

Patiently waiting for my peonies to bloom 🌸🌺
Such beautiful flowers 🌷 are on their way!
Lots of heads this year, it has taken 6 years to reach this stage, if only they bloomed all summer.


Have a great weekend let’s hope we get the nice weather back.

Initially I thought of using a display of coloured glass as I have such a vast collection of vintage ornamental glass of various colours, but then I came across these fabulous frameless clowns 🤡 so bright, colourful and inspiring!!
I hope they don’t scare anyone.
