Happy Star Wars day to all my fellow Star Wars lovers!!!! A throwback to my first double knitting project that I made for my son. I absolutely loved making this especially as it was reversible. Even though I had never taken in such a project I just jumped right in and had a go!!

After being stuffed in a bag for the past 3 years my blanket is now finished. I decided to make this blankets using the double knitting technique so the back is the reverse of the font. I decided at the beginning of the year that I was going to finish it and it’s only took me 4 months!!!

Another sock completed. This design I made twice. Once on a 2.5mm then realised the pattern called for 2.75 mm so made them again. I was making them for a friend who loves ladybirds and was celebrating her 70th birthday. She ended up with the 2.5mm pair and I have kept the 2.75m pair as they were too wide for her

When I purchased Stone Knits second book and i saw this pattern I showed them to my Pac-Man mad son who like every teenager commented “nice” I decided to make them after attending the north west winter wool show as I had purchased some mini skeins from Attic Spin Dye. The socks are now finished and he’s wearing them today so that must be a good sign lol
