Hello all 🤘 I'm having a clear out and selling some old junk journals that I've bought and collected over the years. ***I MUST ADD THESE ARE NOT MY WORK*** I will not be selling to make more money or a profit out of them I will be selling them less than what I paid for. Been working on my Oogie Boogie journal for over 2 weeks, it's been so hard to keep everything under wraps, it's now finally finished. I'm so excited to show it off. It's chunky and big. Pictures and videos will be up by tomorrow hopefully.

Back at my desk this week, finally!! Drawing and creating....

In 2013 i started to get an interest in shabby chic furniture,and decoupage. I did my research and away i went. always on the look out for vintage furniture, i would paint them and decided i wanted to keep nearly everything i had done. lol!!!!! every time people came round my house, i always had something different in replace of something! Ha ha !!! I then had my second daughter and had a break from work, but after awhile i decided to try other things. i started to decoupage wooden signs and embellish them with cabochons i became mad busy.
I then started getting interested in wooden picture blocks, it was a hit and i was snowed under with orders. Then after a year or so i started to fall out of love with it, i became pregnant with Esme (my angel). and decided to pack up work for awhile. and enjoy relaxing.
Esme Beau came along we felt complete, we was so happy. It felt like life was too good to be true! three beautiful girls and me and my husband still madly in love! (don’t get me wrong, we had up’s and down’s) like any other family. But we was complete and happy. Esme was only few weeks old and i started to get bored. (I always had to be doing something). So slowly set up work again. Doing picture blocks.
Esme had died suddenly S.I.D.S (Sudden,Infant,Death) for weeks/ months everything was a complete blur. I sold everything off and went into complete melt down.
I slowly started working again but only on and off, and again became busy with orders. i took up crochet making blankets for our new arrival and i made a rainbow blanket for her. I got alot of lovely comments and feedback asking could i make blankets. So off i went again on another adventure. But it became time consuming trying to work around a newborn and the anxiety and depression i had over Esme’s death. I did carry on with the photo blocks but still something was missing.
I don’t know how and why but i started to get into junk journals in the middle of last year. how to trash a junk journal, anti junk journal these where books that you drew in and figure out a way of trashing them. I loved them!!! i started to watch clips on you tube and then stumbled across how to make a junk journal! i was obsessed!!! women from the US were crazy about using vintage papers and making themed Junk journals. I was completely hooked.
I started to make junk journals in September last year. And i absolutely love it!! i’m getting better and better at it and my mind is constantly looking for new ideas. I work late into the night, i love the whole process. Not once have i got fed up with it and have so many ideas. I am very busy with orders and have a waiting list. I am so grateful for all my customers and there feedback. I love their reactions! and constant custom! I have finally found something that i absolutely love doing day in and day out! It keeps my mind busy.
