Wigan Council will be permanently closing the Galleries car park to members of the public from Friday 25th February.This...

Wigan Council will be permanently closing the Galleries car park to members of the public from Friday 25th February.
This is due to safety concerns over the increased anti-social behaviour on site, in particular on the first level which was used by members of the public.
We are communicating this closure to residents and will be stating that the shopping centre and Wigan market will remain open as usual.
We will be asking members of the public to use the alternative town centre car parks which can be found on the council’s website www.wigan.gov.uk/carparking
The nearest car parks are Water Street multi-storey, Mona Street car park and Harrogate Street car park. Parking on these council car parks is currently free at weekends.
