White-Sailed Ships was written by Ian Cochrane in 1996 and was inspired by John Prebble’s book, The Highland Clearances. The song brings back memories of some great sessions in Edinburgh and the musicians who would often accompany and encourage us. Another ‘unplugged’ to add to the original set list.
