3 weeks to go until EddingtonArts on October 12th featuring 25 talented artists and craftspeople. I’ll be there selling Mongolian crafts and fundraising for Mongolian children.

There’ll be a great selection on display; paintings, prints, ceramics, bags, jewellery, glass, wood, baskets, clocks, textiles and, last but not least, Mongolian handcrafted goods!

is a beautiful, award winning venue to the north west of Cambridge and close to J13 of the M11. There is 90 minutes free parking available at Sainsbury’s close to the venue, or Madingley Road Park and Ride (CB3 OEU) is an 8-minute walk away with unlimited parking.

The angels represent a message of hope; alcohol abuse is a serious problem in Mongolia and Duya (the artisan) creates something beautiful from the discarded alcohol bottles.

This glass angel has a special story; it is on the top of Ben Nevis. For my Mongolian friends, that is the highest mountain in Scotland!
It was gifted by my friend, Liz, to a group of young people who climbed Ben Nevis in memory of one of their peers who sadly died last Christmas.
I'll post a bit more about the angels in a separate post in a moment.
