Happy September, everyone! Next month, we are holding our annual Planet Wimborne Green Festival between the 10th – 17th October. We are delighted to announce that Charlie Dimmock will be the festival finale’s keynote speaker 🌱

A beloved celebrity gardener, Charlie Dimmock has presented a variety of gardening-themed television programmes including Ground Force, The Joy of Gardening, Charlie’s Garden Army and, most recently, Garden Rescue.

Charlie will be sharing her wonderful ‘Gardening for Wildlife & Wellbeing’ talk at Queen Elizabeth School on Saturday 17th October. Everything from her gardening passion to ponds and behind-the-scenes information on her TV experience will be shared 🌻

A shout out for our lovely shop, tucked away in the corner of the Cornmarket. We are a volunteer-led, community shop selling beautiful and ethical stock. It’s the perfect place for a unique gift or delicious fare (including chocolate, of course), all with the added bonus that your purchases are directly supporting producers and artisans worldwide. 💚💙 We are also a fantastic community hub for recycling blister packs, collecting jewellery, currency, stamps and mobile phones, raising money for Transform Trade and Dorset Air Ambulance, and free loans of gorgeous fabric bunting, mugs and reusable glasses for events, to reduce single use.
