We have some sad news to share with you.
You may have noticed from our low stock levels that we have been struggling to get our fragrances made.
Almost every part of our product is made in the UK and at the start of the Covid crisis our Cotswold factory stopped all orders and began to manufacture PPE to help the NHS.
The ongoing situation means that production times have almost doubled and brexit has meant large companies have brought their manufacture back to the UK.
As a small business, just myself and Tom, we cannot compete with the larger, long established companies vying for production slots and to carry on making our prodcuts we would likely have to outsource or use commodities we haven’t vetted. Factories we haven’t visited and farms much further afield; these things go against the very reason we decided to set up LORD HOME and we are not willing to dampen our flame! (Pun intended)
At this time we have decided to stop making any products, going down with our heads high as a casualty of both a global pandemic and brexit rather than an outsourced product not worthy of our name.
Many of you know that we own a Hair salon of the same name in Hampshire and we will be using our spare time to make this the very best it can be after our lock-down closures.
This isn’t the end of LORD HOME, it’s just a hibernation of sorts and when the world rights itself we will be back and better than ever.
