We’re absolutely thrilled to share that two Raw Bean favourites were recognised yesterday by the prestigious Great Taste Awards from the – the world’s largest and most trusted food & drink accreditation scheme. 🏆☕

⭐⭐ Definitely Decaf Perfect Pods – 2 Stars
Our longstanding customer favourite has always proved that decaf can still pack a punch, and the judges agreed! We were delighted to see this Colombian single origin described as an “impressive” and “excellent” decaf. The aroma called “gorgeous” and “extremely inviting”. The judges found it “an easy going coffee, rounded and balanced”, with an “appropriate level of bitterness, tempered by some invigorating flavour”, “a bright astringency and earthy undertones, ending on a mild flavour of milk chocolate which works really well to round off a well-balanced profile, with a long and satisfying finish.”

⭐ South American Specialty Beans – 1 Star
Launched in 2023, this Arabica blend has already gained a loyal following. The judges declared this coffee “interesting and enjoyable” with “subtle, roasted notes and soft nutty tones” as an espresso …however, when lengthened with milk or water, this coffee came “alive” and “pleasingly juicy” with enhanced “nuttiness”! They said, “bitter toffee and dark caramel abound on the palate and delineate the structure of this coffee well; it has a clean and long, bitter chocolate finish. The flavours and structure are balanced and the body and acidity are well-defined and in check. This is a lively coffee with tight structure and a bold, clean expression of the roast.”🌎
