Wow!! 🌻 Sam’s sunflowers next weekend…weather is looking perfect, over 45 stalls, the best sunflowers in years….but they’re early because of the weather so don’t wait until the end of summer and then this maize maze! How they have done this I have no idea! Just WOW! 🌻

Check this out! Our finished maize maze for Sir David Attenbourgh 100th Birthday. We are thrilled to make this amazing tribute in our fields. The design takes a couple of hours to do with the map and I think it has yet to be accomplished without the map!! So if you like a challenge!

Okay….so a little bit of an emotional post! I’ve never really given a back story or shown my face on here yet, but thought this was the perfect time to. This may seem like a little purse and keyring, but for me it symbolises everything Elise B designs is about and why I’m here! My business came about from not only a lifelong love of sewing, but after finding myself on my own 13 years ago raising 3 little people I started sewing again so I could be with them for every tiny moment and watch them grow up. 🥰 Roll on to now and the last little one is about to leave to go to Uni and also after losing my mum a few months ago, it is now a completely new chapter! Sooo…..this little purse and keyring are made from Emma’s aged 2-3 little dress and flared trousers which I absolutely adored her in. I have kept them all this time, unable to cut them up…..but now the time seemed right. 🥰 I absolutely love using up cycled fabrics for so many reasons, but this is one of the best…and even better these were both hand me downs from my friends little girls. Needless to say I am saving little pieces of the fabric to make a set for me! ❤️….roll on the next chapter and enjoying watching the little ones fly 🐝

Can’t wait to be at this beautiful place next weekend. It’s absolutely magical there, and the sunflowers have gone mad this year with the weather we’ve had. They’ve loved it…..guess they had to have got their name from somewhere! 🌻 🌻 It will be a gorgeous weekend and there’s so many stalls (over 45) to browse and fabulous food as well as the stunning flowers 🌻🐝
