As the caption says! The lovely Lauren is getting hitched tomorrow. We’ve managed to get the shop covered 10-12 for collections and art supplies. Any new framing please do start a discussion with Max and we can finalise when I’m back on Tuesday!

To put it bluntly, my right arm is getting married this Saturday! Being a small business, we are all basically family, so we’ll be in attendance all day! (I’m also chief florist…) the shop will be open and manned by Max and Pippa, the shop will be open for a limited period, 10-12 for art supplies, cards, prints and framing collections. Any framing brought in during this period we can hold onto and do a consultation the following week, or you are welcome to@come back at another convenient time that suits you or Max has been slowly learning the framing ropes and can talk through options and ideas with you, But please be kind and patient. Here’s to wishing Lauren and Phil a wonderful day and a life time full of love, luck and laughter! The final question which one of these bad boys is she going to walk down the aisle@in, or is it still a secret???

Thought we’d show you something a bit more traditional for a change. The detail on this is amazing. Finished with an aged frame from LION Picture Framing Supplies now all wrapped up and ready for collection!

When I was learning to picture frame, this was a quick lesson you learnt! (Do forget it every so often though!) we we’ve had fun framing these artworks for a great customer.all shadow mounted and finished with Artglass for extra protection. The aged, retro bevel frame from nielsen really does set these off a treat!

number 2 is in full swing, and although it isn’t as bad as the other week, the shop and studio get stiflingly hot. With that in mind we’ll be closing early today at two. We might do the same tomorrow and we will be closing at 3 on Saturday. Stay cool everyone!

Just another heads up! Even though the heat’s lowered slightly, it’s still roasting! And while we love being in our old building, the temperature in the place gets unbearable very quickly and takes along time to disappear! So with that in mind we’ll be sticking it out as long as we can over the next few days with a definite closure of 3 on Saturday. I hope everyone is trying to keep cool and calm! Thanks for your understanding and support!

Just a heads up for everyone. We work in an old building and the weather when it’s extremely make the building a heat trap. For our comfort and safety we will be closing at 2 each day, possibly even earlier on Thursday as that seems to be the worst day. Hope to see you while we are open!

We are big, BIG fans of a gallery wall. (We’re , we’d be daft not too!) it can sometimes be a lengthy, often daunting process, but we’ve decided we are going to offer a service to help! This is a bit of a two way street! You’ll bring in your images which you’d like to group together, a minimum of 7 and we’ll frame them at a reduced price for you! The catch? Firstly they can’t be too big! A max size of A3. As we will using off cuts to create your gallery wall. You’ll bring us some design/frame inspiration, we’ll follow that, but it’ll be left to us to create a cool, cohesive, exciting range of frames for you! Pop in and have a chat if you’re interested!
