We are very excited about the way our events and activities are coming together for Independent Bookshop Week.

Talks, book groups, book bedazzling workshop, children's activities, window painting, off-site events and, to crown off the week, we are looking forward to welcoming author Emily Howes to talk about her new book, Mrs Dickens. Emma will be interviewed by Natasha Poliszczuk and we think it will be a great evening.

The half term holiday has arrived and we have some fabulous storytimes in store for our little readers at P&G Wells!

This week we are excited to spotlight a few of our favourite new releases, along with some creative crafts and activities.

Today we had a bit of fun with Terry Pratchett Hat Parade.

Some lovely conversations with customers who loved Terry's Discworld, and others who are just discovering it.

Most customers didn't comment on our headwear at all as if wearing hats is totally normal in a bookshop.
