Last year I came across the very talented products and fell in love with her fabrics. She thankfully agreed to collaborate.... And I set out to make a small overnight bag. Then I started a new job and that put the brakes on me finishing the bag. Now coupled with packing up to move house, I decided to get going. And what perfect timing!!! With mother's day around the corner, we think could be the perfect gift!!! 😁

Time for challange two and this has been a real challange... Choosing just 3 of my favourite businesses.

make the most amazing hampers filled with all sorts of treats. We have used them for gifts during covid and they were so well received, that one of my friends is still talking about it!
This is a hugely talented lady that makes the most gorgeous jewellery out of buttons!!! I only discovered her a few weeks ago and was straight onto her page trying to decide what to order...the choice was so diffult, I ended up buying three sets of earrings and a necklace (a little birthday present from me to me). Her work is incredible and the service is second to none.
..best champagne!!!!! The wines are amazing too (sourced from lesser known, quality vineyards) and the sevice impeccable

This week I'm taking part in the . So here is my story so far.....
Three years while on a beach holiday, I saw a picture of a handmade bag and decided 'I could do that'. I really wanted my bags to have something special so focused on making the lining as special as the outside of the bag and decided it also needed a touch of Africa (I'm from South Africa) so decided to make the lining out of bright, vibrant shweshwe fabric. This also means that each bag can be really specific and personalised for every customer. All the bags are lovingly handmade by me.
I have been making bags as a part time business and it was over lockdown that I finally had the time to finally so my website and 'officially' launch.
