It was a first for the shop today when a gentleman arrived with a copy of The Beatles LP Please Please Me. But not any release, yes a 1963 Original Stereo pressing on the Parlophone Gold and Black record label. We had a great chat about the history of the purchase and we played Side 1 in the shop.

We respected the price the owner was looking to sell it for so respectfully declined to make an offer. It was just good to see a copy arrive in the shop.

If anyone would be interested in making an offer or knows anyone who would then please share this post.

The owner is looking for around £5k. The sleeve is in very good / very good plus condition. The record itself has a number of visual marks but Side 1 played really well on the Shop's system.
