Willow Salon is closing.
It’s an end of an era but in all honesty it’s not, it’s the beginning of something amazing.
Willow started as a salon & it opened with just Emily & I. It grew to have 17 members in it’s time. I cherish so many amazing memories that I’ve had there and met some wonderful people along the way.
I absolutely loved doing nails, it was exciting, creative & I got to meet some wonderful clients. I then became an educator teaching skills to other nail techs and passing on my passion for the industry. Whilst teaching I decided to launch my own E-file & nail tool range and I was juggling all three things until the lockdown.
My career path changed like many during lockdown and I had a taster of working on the website full time. When everything began to reopen I decided to retire from clients and continued with education & Willows product line. Many salons were affected during the pandemic and this meant that many of our members of the salon had a change of career or understandably decided to work from home. But not Emily, she continued her hair career whilst in the background developing her own products and testing them along the way. She has been quietly working hard on top of being self employed and a new mum. With both Emily & myself being so busy we need to dedicate our time wisely and are unable to dedicate it to the salon.
After an amazing 6 years Emily & I have decided to let our beautiful salon go & open our new warehouse, Willow HQ!
Emily, who has been by my side from the very beginning will now be hanging up her scissors and I’m so excited for her as she starts her new career paths.
Emily will now be concentrating fully on her new brand (watch this space)! Not to mention her new roles as Willow Academies International distributor & Wholesale Manager ! She couldn’t get rid of me that easily & we are still going strong! 🤜
The great times made us cling on to the salon, but those who look only to the past and the present are certain to miss the future…
And the future starts today not tomorrow.
