During the coaching era, mail travelled through the village around the clock, meaning Woburn’s Post Office never slept. It was located in what is now The Woburn Hotel.

A peaceful end to another week in Woburn.

Thank you to everyone who visited, supported our local businesses and spent time in the village this weekend.

Today’s market fish is looking rather lovely. 🐟✨

Whole baked seabream, roasted until the skin is perfectly crisp, served with a vibrant puttanesca sauce, roasted new potatoes and a charred lemon.

Seasonal, simple and full of flavour. Just how summer should taste.
