🌞 Important Update 🌞

Due to the high temperatures this week, we have made the decision to close the store at 2:00pm each day for the remainder of the week.

The wellbeing and safety of our trainees, volunteers, staff, and customers is our top priority, and we want to ensure that everyone remains safe and comfortable during the hot weather.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support.

🌟 VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🌟

Jac in the Box is looking for volunteers to join our amazing team on Monday mornings and/or Wednesday mornings.

We’re particularly interested in people with teaching, SEND, mentoring, coaching, youth work or training experience, although this is not essential. If you’re patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping young people succeed, we’d love to hear from you.

Our trainees work towards an AQA/City & Guilds accredited Certificate in Workplace Readiness, developing practical skills that prepare them for employment and independence.

The programme covers areas such as:
✅ Timekeeping
✅ Customer Service
✅ Using a Till
✅ Stock Rotation
✅ Personal Hygiene & Presentation
✅ Making Refreshments
✅ Shop Presentation
✅ Retail Management Skills

As a volunteer, you’ll help support and guide young people as they build confidence, gain experience, and work towards recognised qualifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s future while being part of a supportive and rewarding team.
